The Colt Commando Series first appeared on the CAR-15 submachine gun and XM177 series in the 1960s. In 1984, Colt developed a series of new short barrelled Commando submachine guns based on the M16A2, and the M733 was one of those types. VFC Colt Model 733 Commando GBBR is built under license by Cybergun, with full authentic markings.
The Model 733 Commando features: a 11.5-inch outer barrel, CAR-15 style front sight, CAR-15 skinny round carbine hand guard, carrying handle upper receiver, CAR-15 late-type dummy forward assist knob, CAR-15 early-type polymer butt stock, lower receiver with authorised Colt M16A2 markings. Detailed features of the M733 can be found HERE.
